PML-N warns govt against putting Musharraf’s trial on back burner

Pakistan's opposition PML-N has warned the PPP-led government against putting on the back burner the proposed trial of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf on charges of treason, saying such a move now appears inevitable. <br/> <br/>PML-N spokesman Ahsan Iqbal said Musharraf's trial had become the writing on the wall and the issue could not be put in cold storage. He said those who try to save Musharraf will be considered equal partners in his crimes.<br/> <br/>Iqbal said the government should initiate action for Musharraf's trial on charges of treason and leave the rest to the court. <br/>
