<span style="color: #222222;">In Himachal Pradesh  Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojna is being implemented in the State effectively in the wake of corona pandemic and beneficiaries under the scheme have received much-needed relief. The state government is ensuring all measures to reach out to the poorest people of the state so that they do not face difficulties in purchasing essential supplies and meeting essential needs. <br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that in wake of COVID 19 pandemic the state government is making every possible effort to reach out to the underprivileged section of society by giving benefits of various schemes.. Under Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojna.5,90,306 women beneficiaries have been benefitted in the state so far. Rs. 500 as ex-gratia is being given under this scheme for the next three months. Whereas all the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna are getting one cooking gas free of cost for three months in the State. An amount of Rs. 173 crore would be given in bank accounts of 8,68,915 farmers of the state identified under Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna. On the other hand, the State Government has also started paying of Rs. 2000 to workers for their wage loss who are registered under H.P.  Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Several MGNREGA workers would also be benefitted from this welfare Board. Wage admissible under MGNREGA has also been enhanced by Rs. 20 per day from 1st April 2020. In line with the government of India, the state government has also decided to give ex-gratia of Rs. 50 lakh to all the frontline workers of other departments involved directly in fighting COVID-19</span><br />
