The Centre said, it has sanctioned 1.12 crore plus houses and delivered over 48.5 lakh houses to the beneficiaries so far under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban. In an exclusive interview to AIR News, Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary Durga Shanker Mishra said, these houses are not confined to four walls and a roof alone.
