Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Elephant Falls near Shillong in Meghalaya Saturday morning.<br/><br/>He was accompanied by Minister for Department of North-Eastern Region (DONER), Jitendra Singh.<br/><br/>Prime Minister took some pictures at the famous tourist site which is about 12 kilometres from the state capital. <br/><br/>Mr. Modi also visited Mawphlang village, 25 kilometres from Shillong. <br/><br/>Prime Minister enjoyed cultural programme presented by local folk artists belonging to Khasi tribe. <br/><br/>He also had local drink at the village. Mr Modi also interacted with local dancers at the heritage village.
