Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh today visited Dilsukh Nagar blast site in Hyderabad a short while ago. The Chief Minister, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy and DGP Dinesh Reddy explained him how the incident occurred and the impact of it. Dr. Singh spent about five minutes at the site. Sixteen persons were killed and seventeen injured in Thursday's twin blasts in Hyderabad. The Prime minister also visited some of the injured who are being treated at private hospitals at Malakpet area nearby. He enquired about the health condition of the injured from the duty doctors.

Earlier, Prime Minister was received by Andhra Pradesh Governor, E. S. L. Narsimhan, Chief Minister, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy and several other senior officials. Several central ministers including Satya Narayana and Panadaka Laxmi were accompanying him.
