Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh today visited Dilsukh Nagar blast site in Hyderabad and some of the injured who are being treated at private hospitals at Malakpet area nearby. He enquired about the health condition of the injured from the duty doctors. Talking to reporters outside a hospital, the Prime Minister assured all necessary help to the families of blast victims and injured.

Earlier, the Chief Minister, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy and DGP Dinesh Reddy who accompanied Dr. Singh briefed him about the incident. The Prime Minister spent about five minutes at the blast site. Sixteen persons were killed and one hundred and seventeen injured in the Thursday's twin blasts.
