Vice-President Mohd. Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh have greeted the people on the occasion of Navroz—the Parsi New Year Day being celebrated today.

In his message, the Vice-President said Navroz fostered the spirit of harmony and brotherhood that marks our composite culture. Dr. Manmohan Singh said Navroz was harbinger of peace and prosperity and the festival reminds us of the rich diversity and inclusiveness of our culture.
