The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has urged the administrators to work for bringing back the misguided elements into the society. Addressing the IAS probationers in New Delhi today, Dr Singh said this can be done by looking into the factors that lead them to go astray from the mainstream thinking. Dr Singh highlighted the challenge of naxalism, terrorism and communalism have to be taken head on. He said the role of public administration is of critical importance and called for enforcing law and order. The Prime Minister strongle pleaded for making the people feel that administration is caring and just. Dr Singh urged them to be sympathetic to the backward parts of the community.
