The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is going on a day-long visit to Assam tomorrow. Prime Minister will inaugurate two new facilities at B. Barooah Cancer Institute . He is scheduled to inaugurate the platinum jubilee celebrations of the Assam Legislative Assembly in Guwahati. Dr. Singh, who is a Rajya Sabha Member from Assam will discuss with the members of state cabinet issues concerning the State . AIR Correspondent reports a thick security blanket has been thrown around Guwahati city in view of a 12-hour bandh call by anti-talk faction of the banned ULFA from five in the morning.
