PM to unveil Start Up India action plan on Jan 16

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Start Up India movement on 16th of this month in New Delhi and unveil the Start Up Action Plan. The event is aimed at celebrating the entrepreneurship spirit of country's youth. Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Amitabh Kant said it will be attended by CEOs and founders of over 1500 Start Ups from across the country.<br/><br/>A unique Question and Answer session titled 'Face to Face with Policy Makers' is also being organised. Secretaries of key Ministries, including Finance Secretary, Revenue Secretary and Human Resources Development Secretary, will answer questions on how government will create enabling environment for Start Ups.<br/><br/>The Secretary said panel discussions will also take place on various topics. The event will be telecast live in IITs, IIMs, NITs and Central Universities in over 350 districts.
