PM to share his thoughts in 'Mann Ki Baat' programme on All India Radio on June 30

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will share his thoughts with the people in the country and abroad in his Mann Ki Baat programme on All India Radio this Sunday. <br />''<br />''It will be the first Mann Ki Baat programme after Mr Modi assumed office for the second term. AIR correspondent reports, the Prime Minister has been raising several  important issues through the monthly programme which is aired on the last Sunday of every month on 11 AM.  <br />''<br />''The Prime Minister spoke on Khelo India initiative in his Mann Ki Baat address in January this year. He asserted that youth will be able to perform their best only when the local ecosystem of sports will be strong.  <br />''<br />''He added that the success stories from Khelo India convey that the youth of villages and small cities are also huge contributors to the emergence of New India.<br />''<br />''Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju has said, the Khelo India initiative has revived the sports culture in the country at the grass-root level.<br />''<br />

Mr Modi has been raising several important issues through the monthly programme which is aired on the last Sunday of every month on 11 AM. &nbsp;<br />”<br />”In his address on 14th December, 2014, the Prime Minister had expressed serious concern over growing menace of drugs among the youth in the country. <br />”<br />”He had termed drug addiction as a psycho-socio-medical problem and said it is leading the youth to darkness, destruction and devastation.&nbsp;<br />”<br />”Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawarchand Gehlot said, government started a survey programme across the country last year to determine the number of people who are addicted to drugs.&nbsp;<br />”<br />
