Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is leading a high level delegation to the Toronto G20 Summit in Canada. Dr. Singh’s team includes the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission and India’s G20 Sherpa, Montek Singh Ahluwalia, and also National Security Advisor, Shiv Shanker Menon. The World Leaders of developed and emerging economies are converging the 26th and 27th to review the current status of global economic recovery under the theme ‘Recovery and new Beginnings. <br/> <br/>AIR correspondent reports that since its inception, in 1999, the G20 grouping has become the major forum for discussions and providing directions for the financial stability of the world to achieve sustainable economic growth and development through international cooperation. India had called upon the major economies of the world to invest in infrastructure and human resources sectors in the developing nations so that such countries can become drivers of global growth.<br/>
