Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate extension of Delhi Metro from Badarpur to Escorts Mujesar in Faridabad, Haryana on the 6th of this month. An official spokesman said at Chandigarh today that it will meet the long pending demand of about two lakh commuters commuting between Delhi and Faridabad every day, adding that 95 per cent of the equipment used is indigenous and has been put on the track within the sanctioned cost. <br/><br/>The nine stations on this section are Sarai, NHPC Chowk, Mewala Maharajpur, Sector – 28, Badkal Mor, Old Faridabad, Neelam Chowk Ajronda, Bata Chowk and Escorts Mujesar. All these stations are elevated and located on either side of the Delhi-Mathura Road.
