Residents of Faridabad in Haryana will be able to enjoy the services of Delhi Metro from today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Badarpur-Faridabad Metro Line today. The extension of Delhi Metro till Faridabad will ease commuting between both cities. A Haryana government spokesman said that nearly 2 lakh people travel between the two cities daily.<br/><br/>There are nine stations in this 13.875 km long section, which is an extension of Delhi Metro's Violet Line, currently running from ITO to Badarpur. These are Sarai, NHPC Chowk, Mewala Maharajpur, Sector 28, Badkal Mor, Old Faridabad, Neelam Chowk Ajronda, Bata Chowk and Escorts Mujesar. All these stations are elevated and located on either side of the Delhi-Mathura Road.<br/><br/>During his visit to Faridabad, Mr Modi will also address a public meeting.
