Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend a commemorative event to mark the 300th Martyrdom Anniversary of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur in New Delhi tomorrow. <br/><br/>On the occasion, he will release a book and souvenir on the life of Banda Bahadur. A recently released commemorative coin on him will be presented to the Prime Minister. <br/><br/>The coin was released by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to mark the 300th martyrdom day of Banda Bahadur. <br/><br/>Banda Bahadur established his rule to protect the honour and traditions of his people by defeating the Mughals in 1710. Later in 1716, at the age of 46 he was captured and executed by the Mughals in Delhi.
