Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel's 140th birth anniversary celebrations on Sunday. He will address a programme in the national capital to commemorate the birth anniversary of Iron Man of India who is credited with uniting hundreds of princely states after Independence. <br/><br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi today, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu said Mr. Modi will garland Patel's statue in Parliament and then go to Vijay Chowk where a run for unity is being organised. <br/><br/>BJP will also organize several functions in different parts of the country. Party Chief Amit Shah will lead the show in Bihar where he has been camping in view of the Assembly polls. Almost all Union Ministers and party leaders will attend the programmes across the country and discussions will be held on Patel's contribution to national unity and integrity.
