PM to arrive in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday

The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh is arriving in Kuala Lumpur Tuesday on the second leg of his three nation tour. Indian High Commissioner in Malaysia, Mr Vijay Gokhle in an exclusive interview to AIR said that the two countries are expected to announce the conclusion of Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement. Mr Gokhle said that the Malaysian government is eagerly looking forward to Dr Singh's visit.He said the principal aspect of the visit is strengthening of economic partnership between the two countries. The prime minister will launch a bi-lateral CEO forum in order to encourage business and industry on both sides to develop greater collaboration. Mr Gokhle said the visit will further deepen the relationship between the two countries and give it a strategic direction.During his stay in the Malaysian capital, Dr. Singh will hold talks with his counterpart and call on king and the queen of the country.
