Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a Panchayati Raj Sammelan on the Occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day today at 3:30 PM at Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. The Prime Minister's address will be beamed live to all the Gram Sabhas of the country through Radio and Doordarshan. 26 big LED screen have been placed at the venue. Tight security arrangements are in place – in and around the venue, and whole of the Kolhan region of the southern part of Jharkhand. Union Minister Chaudhari Briendra Singh and State Chief Minister Raghuwar Das, besides several others dignitaries, will also be present on the occasion. Our Ranchi Correspondent reports that more than 3,000 Panchayat Representatives from all over the country are participating in this programme.
