The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh and the UPA Chairperson, Mrs Sonia Gandhi would launch the integration of five government schemes with Aadhar card system on October 20 in Dudu area near Jaipur in Rajasthan.
The schemes include MGNREGA, Mukhyamantri BPL Gramin Awas Yojna, Pension scheme under social security, Asha Sehyogini payment and Chief Minister's Scholarship scheme. These will be integrated with the Aadhaar card, which was launched two years ago.
Aadhaar, a 12-digit individual identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India serves as a proof of identity and address anywhere in the country.
