Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi have inaugurated the newly constructed buildings of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, High Court, Inter-State Bus Terminus, City Convention Centre and Manipur Film Development Corporation Auditorium at Imphal this afternoon.

State Governor Gurbachan Jagat, Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh and Union Law Minister Salman Khursheed also have accompanied the Prime Minister and the UPA Chairperson.

Earlier, Dr. Singh and Mrs. Gandhi were accorded a warm welcome at the Tulihal Airport in Imphal by state Governor and state Chief Minister when they arrived at Imphal this morning on a one-day visit to Manipur.
