Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated three major Railway projects in Bihar. He dedicated to the nation, the rail portion of a newly constructed Digha-Sonepur Rail-cum-Road Bridge in Hajipur yesterday. The Prime Minister also unveiled plaques for the commencement of operation of goods trains on the newly-constructed Rail-cum-Road Bridge at Munger, and for the foundation stone of an additional bridge at Mokama. <br/><br/>Addressing a gathering at Hajipur, Mr Modi said, for India's sustainable growth, it is essential that the eastern states of the country develop. He said, if India has to prosper, Bihar must develop.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister said, infrastructure, especially roads and railways, give pace to progress. He said, Railways is not just a mode of transportation, but it helps speed up the country's economy. Mr Modi said, his government will work to boost up the speed of trains, improve passenger services, amenities on stations, complaint redressal mechanism and use of digital technology.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister also said, in the last 18 months of NDA Government two-and-a-half times more development works were completed in comparison to the five years of UPA Government.<br/><br/>Earlier, addressing the valedictory function of centenary celebrations of the Patna High Court, Mr Modi emphasised the need of tech-savvy bar, bench and courts for quality of arguments and judgements. He said, the time of judgment will be sped up by using digital technology.
