The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has expressed deep grief over the death of former Member of Rajya Sabha and noted film actor, Dara Singh. In his condolence message Dr. Singh said he was deeply saddened to learn of the passing away of Dara Singh, who has been an inspiration and icon to many generations in the country. The Prime minister said Dara Singh's contribution to the Hindi and Punjabi cinema, wrestling and the Rajya Sabha will be remembered by millions.
