Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sanctioned an ex- gratia of 2 lakh rupees each to the next of kin of those who died in the SUM hospital fire at Bhubaneshwar in Odisha two days back. <br/><br/>Mr Modi has also sanctioned 50 thousand rupees each for those seriously injured. According to the Prime Miniser's Office, the ex-gratia will be paid from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister had expressed deep anguish at the loss of lives in the hospital blaze, calling it mind-numbing.
