The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has ruled out his retirement till his task is finished. Replying a question in the first major press conference to mark the one year of UPA 2 in New Delhi, he said that he has been given a task that remains unfinished. Dismissing reports about his retirement , he asserted that there is no question of his retirement. Dr. Singh however, said he sometimes feels younger people should takeover and it is for the party to make a judgement. Dr. Singh elaborated that he would be very happy to make place for any body the party may choose. When asked about Rahul Gandhi about joining the cabinet he said whenever he is ready it would be a very appropriate addition. Dr. Singh said he extended many invitations to the young Congress leader but his priority is to focus on reviving the party. <br/>Dismissing reports of differences with Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi he said he is very fortunate in receiving her constant guidance and advice during their weekly meetings. The Prime Minister said there are several effective coordination mechanisms to mediate between the government and the party. <br/>
