PM rules out any alliance with INLD; says will not have tie up with mafia behind bars

Prime Minister Narendera Modi addressed three rallies in the poll bound state of Haryana. He addressed his first rally at Hissar and then at Kurukshtera and Faridabad, seeking support from the voters for BJP candidates of 17 assembly constituencies.

During his campaign address, PM Modi repeatedly targeted the opposition parties and urged the voters to vote out dynastic politics from Haryana. In an apparent reference to former state Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala of INLD, Mr. Modi said that BJP is contesting elections for good governance and the party will never have an alliance with people who are behind bars and with the mafia. He said, he has the support of 1.25 crore people which is enough for him.

Targeting Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Prime Minister Modi said that he has benefited only a family and ignored the masses but if BJP comes in power then it will be the government for all. Touching on local issues, Mr. Modi said that Kurukshetra has more potential to develop than Gurgaon. He said, Kurukshetra is known internationally for its Mahabharata connection and has a great tourism potential. He asked the women voters to support his party to make the state free of crime against women, which he claimed was never accomplished by other parties.

On the other hand, refuting the charges levied by Prime Minister Modi regarding clearing the land deals between Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra and DLF in the State, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that he would quit politics if his involvement was proved in this. He said, he and his government has nothing to do with the land deals and the BJP was misleading the people.
