PM reviews progress of infrastructure projects in road, railway, energy sectors

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reviewed the progress of vital infrastructure projects in the road, railway, coal, power and renewable energy sectors. <br/><br/>These projects spread over several states including Mizoram, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chandigarh and Delhi. Mr Modi chaired the tenth interaction through Pragati- the ICT-based, multi-modal platform for Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister also reviewed the complaints and grievances from people relating road and highways and directed all concerned officials to expedite their redressal. Mr Modi called for all efforts to eradicate Kala Azar at the earliest and immunize to cover all children in a specific time frame. <br/><br/>He also directed to expedite the improvement work of Char-Dham connectivity in Uttarakhand. Reviewing the redevelopment of Railway Stations, Mr Modi said it will become iconic structures and centre of economic activity.
