Prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has appealed Madhya Pradesh congress president Suresh Pachori to break his indefinite fast. Talking to him over phone Dr. Singh assured all possible help to the frost affected farmers of the state. Mr. Pachori has been on hunger strike for the last five days. He is demanding adequate relief to frost hit farmers from the BJP ruled state government. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherji, Home Minister P Chidambaram and political advisor to congress president Sonia Gandhi, Ahmed Patel also talked to Mr. Pachori and requested him to end his fast.
