The Prime Minister has called upon all political parties to rise above narrow considerations and cooperate in bringing about a strong Lok Pal.

Addressing a rally at Amritsar, he said, corruption is a serious problem requiring a multi-dimensional response.

Prime Minister reiterates his government’s commitment to deal with corruption in an effective manner and committed to bring a strong Lokpal.

The Lok Pal Bill was even passed in the Lok Sabha but got stuck in the Rajya Sabha. Therefore all parties should cooperate to achieve this.
