Prime Minister Manmohan Singh received his Pakistan counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani who has come on his invitation to watch the World Cup Cricket second semifinal at the Mohali cricket stadium. Both Leaders were introduced to the players of both the teams before the start of the match.India that won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan in the World Cup Cricket second semifinal at Mohali were 14 for no loss when reports came in. Earlier, the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh arrived in Chandigarh a short while ago. He was received by the Governors and Chief Ministers of both Punjab and Haryana at airport. Several other dignitaries from both the governments and union territory were also present at the airport to welcome the Prime Minister Dr. Singh.Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on his arrival at the Chandigarh airport told media persons that his visit will bridge the gap between both the countries. He also extended his gratitude to the people of India for inviting him to see the match.
