Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tribute to freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar on his birth anniversary.<br/><br/>In a tweet, Mr Modi saluted Savarkar, saying he was a true son of the country and an inspiration to all.<br/><br/>On the occasion, floral tributes were paid to Swatantreyveer Savarkar in the Central Hall of Parliament.<br/><br/>Senior BJP leader L K Advani, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP MP Subramanian Swamy were among those who paid their tributes.
