Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated an exhibition on the drafting of the Constitution by the Constituent Assembly inside Parliament library building. The exhibition traces India's democratic heritage through ancient and medieval history, leading up to the Freedom struggle and the setting up of the Constituent Assembly. The working of the Constituent Assembly is highlighted through photographs, write-ups, press clippings and figures.
