Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised full support to quake-hit Nepal in reconstruction efforts as former Nepalese Prime Minister and Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' met him in New Delhi Friday. Mr Modi also expressed the hope that Nepal would adopt at the earliest a new Constitution, which enjoys the support of all sections of the society, and helps build an inclusive, stable and prosperous country. <br/><br/>A PMO statement said the two leaders discussed the political situation in Nepal and post-quake developments. The Prime Minister reiterated India's commitment to fully support Nepal in letter and spirit in the reconstruction efforts. He also praised the people and the leadership of Nepal for their efforts in rebuilding Nepal after the grave tragedy. <br/><br/>Former Nepalese Prime Minister thanked Mr Modi for Indian assistance in the aftermath of earthquakes in Nepal, including the pledge of one billion US dollar announced at the donors' conference in Kathmandu on June 25. <br/><br/>
