PM Narendra Modi on two 'day visit to his home state Gujarat from today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two 'day visit to his home state Gujarat from today. Mr. Modi will first reach at Surat Airport in the afternoon, from where he will go to Dahej to dedicate the petrochemical complex of ONGC Petro Additions Limited (OPAL). He will also address an industry meet at the complex. Thereafter, he will head to Bharuch, where he will inaugurate a newly built cable bridge constructed on Narmada River. This will ease the traffic woes on Ahmedabad 'Mumbai National Highway. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister will also address a public gathering at Bharuch and lay a foundation stone for a bus port in the town. After that event, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will host a dinner for Modi at his residence in Gandhinagar, where state ministers and MPs are expected to remain present. Thereafter, the Prime Minister will head to the Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar, where he will stay over the night.<br/>Tomorrow morning, Prime Minister will visit Somnath temple, where he will offer special prayers and attend the meeting of the Somnath Temple Trust. Mr. Modi is the trustee of temple trust, of which former Gujarat chief minister Keshubhai Patel is the president. BJP president Amit Shah and senior party leader LK Advani will also attend the meeting of the temple trust. Both of them are also its trustees. <br/><br/>Later, the Prime Minister will address the national convention of women sarpanchs in Gandhinagar on the occasion of International Women's Day. Women sarpanchs from different parts of the country will attend the event, which has been jointly organised by the Center and the Rural Development Department of Gujarat government.
