Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan today said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has played a pivotal role in popularizing Yoga worldwide. He was participating in the 'Yogotsav' programme that was organised as a precursor to the International Yoga Day at Mamallapuram. <br />''<br />''The Minister said, Yoga helps keep the health of both, body and mind. He recalled the meeting between Prime Minister Modi and the Chinese President Xi Jinping at the same venue way back in 2019.<br />''<br />''The programme was arranged by the Coastal Aquaculture Authority of the Union Fisheries Department and the Delhi-based Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga. Dr Murugan also took part in the demonstration of various Asanas of Yoga.<br />''<br />''<br />
