Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asked his Cabinet colleagues to set a 100-day agenda with focus on efficient governance, delivery and implementation of programmes. He instructed his Council of Ministers to give priority to the issues brought forth by the state governments as also the Members of Parliament.
Talking to reporters after the cabinet meeting in New Delhi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said, the Prime Minister during the meeting advised all Cabinet Ministers to take their Ministers of State into confidence and give them proper work.
He said, Mr Modi also stressed on taking all states along by the Centre and address the representations made by them on priority basis. Mr. Nadu said, women security, price rise, Centre-State relations, employment by the government.
The Prime Minister also set a 10-point agenda for the government. It includes increasing investment, completing infrastructure projects in a time-bound manner and exploiting the natural resources to the country's benefit.
Building confidence in bureaucracy, placing people-oriented system, stability in government policy regime and priority to health water and energy sector also form part of the agenda.
