PM Narendra Modi accuses Cong-NCP combine of destroying Maharashtra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that 15-year-rule of Congress and NCP have destroyed the Maharastra.

Addressing a election rally at Mahalaxmi race course ground in Mumbai last evening , Mr Modi said , that Congress-NCP government was only about corruption, extortion, casteism and regionalism and BJP cannot leave Maharashtra and Mumbai at the mercy of such people and rulers.

The Prime Minister said Mumbai being the financial capital of India, its loss is country’s loss. Similarly, Maharashtra loss is also country’s loss. The BJP wants to change this and speed up the economic development of state. This will change the fate of state and thus the country.

He made an appeal to voters of the state for an absolute majority to Bharatiya Janata Party in the Assembly elections instead of a hung assembly.

Prime Minister made a promise to the people that he will develop the state so that it regains its number one position. Reminding the people that most terror attacks in the country took place in Mumbai, the Prime Minister said it was sad that people are awaiting justice for 15 years.

He said after UP most communal riots take place in Maharashtra. .Like in Beed and Aurangabad rallies, the Prime Minister in his one-hour speech did not name Shiv Sena nor did criticise it.
