He noted that the Central Government has approved a 350 crore rupees Medical College Project for boosting the health care facilities of the Border District with Central assistance to the tune of around 292 crore rupees.<br />''<br />''Mr Chandrasekhar also interacted with the local villagers, supporters and party Karyakartas. During the interaction, he briefed about the vision of PM Modi that aims to transform North East Region as one of the engines for India's economic growth and work for development of remote cities, towns and villages that were hitherto neglected and ignored.<br />''<br />''The Minister also asked the authorities to prepare a detailed District Skill Development plan by mapping local skills and market. He interacted with the youth, trainers and students and discussed about the tremendous opportunities that Skill India holds for the youth of India in general and Nagaland and North East Region in particular.<br />''<br />''After marathon meetings and visits the entire day, Chandrasekhar chaired a meeting with key officials of District Administration of Aspirational District Kiphire at Dimapur, since inclement weather did not permit the Minister travel to Kiphire. He shared the vision of Prime Minister Modi which is to catalyze development in Aspirational Districts through a focused approach, leveraging Whole of Government and transform them into shining models for other districts to emulate.<br />''<br />''On the last day of his tour, the Minister will inaugurate five NIELIT Centres in North East Region at Dimapur tomorrow. These Centres are located at Dibrugarh and Jorhat in Assam, Passighat in Arunachal Pradesh, Dimapur in Nagaland and Senapati in Manipur.</span><br />
