Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed the Minister of State of UAE, Rashid Ahmad bin Fahad and appreciated the regular high level participation by UAE in Vibrant Gujarat Summits. <br/><br/> External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said Prime Minister Modi expressed happiness at the forthcoming visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. The Crown Prince will be the Chief Guest at Republic Day celebrations. He hoped that the visit will provide a very strong foundation for the strategic partnership between India and the UAE.<br/><br/>Mr Modi expressed satisfaction at the increasing trade and economic ties with the UAE. Both sides had agreed to increase bilateral trade by 60 percent over the next five years.<br/><br/> Increase in bilateral investment was also a top priority for the government. Prime Minister identified railways, ports, airports and infrastructure sector as promising areas for UAE's investment.
