Prime Minister Narendra Modi has warned of taking stiffer action against people stashing black money. Speaking at a function in Vadodra yesterday, to distribute aid and appliances to Divyangs, Mr. Modi used the analogy of surgical strikes while talking about unearthing black money under the Income Declaration Scheme. He said the government had given an opportunity to those who had black money to come in line. He said, over 65,000 crore rupees of unaccounted money came to the mainstream after paying taxes. Prime Minister said that the government managed this even without doing a surgical strike. Stating that if a surgical strike would be done one can imagine what all will tumble out.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister said, the welfare of the poor is at the center of the NDA government's agenda. He said, the government is committed to the upliftment of poorest of the poor in the society. Expressing the sensitivity of his government towards the Divyangs, Mr. Modi said, the previous government had organised only 56 camps to provide assistive equipment to divyangs, while his government has conducted 4500 such camps since May 2014. He said, more than 5.5 lakh divyangs have been provided assistive equipment during last two years.
