PM Modi urges people to help him eradicate corruption from country

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the culture of corruption will not be tolerated any longer and his government will initiate tough steps to deal with the menace while pushing for all-round development of the country.

He said corruption is worse than even cancer and can destroy the country. He said we should take strong steps to remove corruption and urged the people to help him eradicate corruption from the country.

Modi appealed the countrymen to support him in eradicating this menace. He said country wants change and is striving for international level development.

Modi said this while addressing a gathering at Kaithal in Kurukshetra district of Haryana where he laid the foundation stone of four-laning of 166 km long Kaithal-Narwana-Hisar-Rajasthan border section of the national highway, today.

The Prime Minister said strong development of roads enables development of any nation. Modi also emphasized on having latest infrastructure for development of the country.

He said that four laning of Haryana-Rajasthan highway would not only provide better roads but also create development and employment opportunities for both the states.

On his first visit to Haryana after becoming Prime Minister, Modi said that development was the only way to take the country forward and address the various problems faced by the people, including that of unemployment.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari announced new projects worth 10 thousand crore rupees for Haryana and ensured to finish the pending projects in the State.

He said that state will be provided with maintenance free concrete roads and opening up of skill development corporation to provide employment to the people of the state.
