Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today unveiled the trophy for BRICS Under-17 football tournament in New Delhi. <br/>The tournament will be held in Goa from 5th of next month.<br/><br/>In his address, Prime Minister reiterated the Nation's commitment to 'Sports for All' and 'Khelo India' and taking football to every corner of the country. He emphasised that the youth being the leaders of the future, their shared understanding and bonhomie is imperative to ensure that the BRICS Summit continues to receive the impetus it deserves. <br/><br/>Wishing the tournament grand success, Mr Modi said he is confident that it will meet the objective of facilitating greater understanding and friendship amongst all participants.<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Sports Minister Vijay Goel said the trophy symbolises the free and enterprising spirit of youth and strength and commitment of the BRICS nations towards solidarity in their global endeavours. The ceremony was attended by Ambassadors and High Commissioners of BRICS nations and other dignitaries.
