Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to witness air power demonstration by Naval Aircraft aboard INS Vikarmaditya off the Goa coast in the Arabian Sea today. He will also witness high-speed maneuver by the Navy's Western Fleet ships including aircraft carrier INS Viraat, Delhi-class destroyers and Talwar-class frigates.

Mr. Modi is also scheduled to address officers and sailors of the Navy. AIR correspondent reports that the 44,500-tonne warship acquired from Russia was commissioned in the Navy by the then Defence Minister AK Antony in November last year.
