<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kokrajhar in Assam tomorrow to participate in the celebrations of the signing of the Bodo Agreement. Mr Modi will address the gathering to hail the historic Bodo Agreement which was signed on 27th of last month by including the leading stakeholders under one framework. More than four lakh people from the Bodoland Territorial Area Districts and all over Assam are expected to attend the programme. A Cultural programme of ethnic groups of Assam is being organized by the State Government to showcase the diversity of the state.<br />''<br />''During the last five years, the Centre has also given a lot of importance to the peace and progress of the North Eastern region. Addressing an event on 28th of last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted how the situation in North Eastern states have improved a lot. He said, earlier the region was neglected and was battling extremism where innocents lost their lives in violence. Mr Modi said, unprecedented plans for the development of the North East was initiated by the Government in the last five years. He said, dialogue was initiated with all stakeholders with a very open mind and an open heart and the Bodo agreement is the result of it.  <br />''<br />''After signing of the agreement on 27th January this year, Home Minister Amit Shah said, the agreement is another success of Prime Minister's vision of Sab ka Saath, Sab ka Vikas, Sab ka Vishwas. He called the momentous occasion as the harbinger of a golden future for Assam. The Home Minister said, Assam's territorial integrity is assured with this agreement, as every single Bodo group has come on board. </span><br />
