<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has informed media persons in Bengaluru on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka on the 12th and 19th of January. On the 12th of January, the Prime Minister will inaugurate a five-day National Youth Festival at Hubballi-Dharwad in North Karnataka. The festival will witness the participation of 7500 youths arriving from 28 States and eight Union Territories.<br />''<br />''On the 19th of January, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the Narayanapura left bank irrigation canal modernisation project. The Left bank canal after Narayanapura reservoir on Krishna river in Vijayapura district is modernised to improve water use efficiency, reduce water loss in the command area and deliver water to the tail end users. The Chief Minister Mr. Bommai said that the Prime Minister is also likely to take part in the Banjara community convention to be held in Kalburgi during his visit on the 19th of January.</span><br />
