Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam tomorrow to take stock of the flood situation. <br/><br/>Sources in the Chief Minister's Office said that the Prime Minister is expected to hold meeting with the state government machinery on recent wave of flood. He is also likely to review post-flood rehabilitation measures. <br/><br/>As many as 79 people lost their lives in the devastating floods in Assam this year. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister has announced 2 lakh rupees each for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives in the floods in Assam and Rajasthan. <br/><br/>In a tweet, Mr Modi also announced 50 thousand rupees each from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for those seriously injured.
