Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after visiting Mozambique, in second leg of his four nation tour, is scheduled to arrive in Pretoria, South Africa, late tonight. <br/><br/>Mr Modi's meeting is scheduled with top South African leaders and various agreements will be signed tomorrow. After the welcome ceremony, Mr Modi will meet African President Jacob Zuma for bilateral talks tomorrow following signing of agreements after which both leader will brief joint press conference. <br/><br/>In the evening Prime Minister will meet Deputy President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa. Mr Modi and Mr Zuma are scheduled to address business leaders of the both countries. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister will Also visit Nalson Mandela Foundation in Johannesburg. He will also address a grand gathering of Indian diaspora at Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg. <br/><br/>After the address, Prime Minister will leave for Durban and Pietermaritzburg, places related to Mahatma Mahatma Gandhi. The visit is significant for economic ties, technology transfer, enhanced international co-operation and to connect Indian diaspora in Indian development.<br/><br/>Prime Minister's visit to South Africa is expected to boost bilateral trade. During this visit, agreement on civil aviation, technology sharing of coal gasification, deep mining and defence production are likely to be sign. Prime Minister 's visit is also important for Indian bid of NSG membership as South Africa is member of NSG and unanimity is essential to include a country. <br/><br/>Mr Modi's Visit to the nation will also deepen cooperation of both countries on various international platforms like BRICS, IBSA, G-4 and G-20. Mr Modi's visit and involvement with diaspora will also deepen the rich historical India-South Africa cultural relation.
