PM Modi to launch India Pavilion at le Bourget

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Global Conference on Climate Change today. He will also launch India pavilion at le Bourget on the sidelines of Paris Climate change conference.<br/><br/>The prime minister would also launch a book 'Parampara' during the event. The book narrates the traditions of Indian culture in the conservation of environment. The book enlists many examples of optimal use of natural resources and provided an intriguing aspect of frugal living as part of Indian values and tradition. Prime Minister Mr Modi has emphasized on several forum on sustainable living and has said that checking climate change and global warming is everyone's responsibility.<br/><br/>Prime Minister has said that the life style of few must not crowd out opportunities for many still in the first ladder of the development.<br/><br/>Prime minister Narendra Modi has said that the Paris climate conference will produce an agreement that restores balance between ecology and economy just hour before the start of the crucial meeting in global climate action.<br/><br/>In a series of tweets PM Modi had outlined India's initiatives and stand on climate issues. PM emphasized on collective global commitment balancing responsibilities and capabilities with aspirations and needs.<br/><br/>The statements of PM just before the beginning of conference are of huge significance as India is a key stakeholder in the conference and clearly reflects India's stand on common but differentiated responsibility which may not be puddings but the developed world to accede to.<br/><br/>Referring to challenges faced by India, PM said India is also experiencing the impact of climate change and is concerned about our coast, island and glaciers.<br/><br/>Prime Minister said since ancient times we have seen humanity as part of nature and not superior to it. Assuring the world before the crucial conference PM said India will reduce bits emission intensity by 33 percent of its GDP by 2030 of its 2005 levels. 40 percent of installed power capacity would by non fossil fuels by 2022, he tweeted.<br/>He said we have imposed levied on coal and rationalized subsidies on petroleum products to finance clean and green energy.
