PM Modi to launch India pavilion at le Bourget today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today launch India pavilion at le Bourget on the sidelines of Paris Climate change conference.<br/><br/>The prime minister would also launch a book 'Parampara' during the event. The book narrates the traditions of Indian culture in the conservation of environment. The book enlists many examples of optimal use of natural resources and provided an intriguing aspect of frugal living as part of Indian values and tradition. Prime Minister Mr Modi has emphasized on several forum on sustainable living and has said that checking climate change and global warming is everyone's responsibility.<br/><br/>A new digital initiative 'I forest ' is also displayed in the Indian Pavilion which shows problems of climate change and actions taken by the government in forms of action plans and intended nationally determined contributions (INDC) to the Paris climate action summit.<br/><br/>A quiz competition on climate issue are also organized at Indian pavilion. A beautiful waterfall showcasing India's initiatives on action taken to reduce carbon footprint is a major attraction of Indian pavilion.<br/><br/>Indian pavilion also showcases 5o short films on adaptation and mitigation initiatives taken by India to reduce the carbon emissions and control the global warming as part of its global responsibility.<br/>
