Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) tomorrow in Patna. The Yojana is one of the flagship programmes of the Ministry of Power, which will help in providing round the clock power to rural households and adequate power to agricultural consumers. <br/><br/>An official release said, under the scheme, an agriculture intensive state like Bihar will benefit from works for separate feeder line for rural households and agricultural. Thousands of kilometres of new lines and hundreds of new substations are planned. <br/><br/>The scheme has an outlay of 76 thousand crore rupees for implementation of the projects under which Centre will provide grant of Rs 63000 crore. Projects worth 14680 crore rupees have already been approved, out of which projects worth Rs 5827 crore are approved for Bihar.
