PM Modi to join Israel PM Netanyahu on visit to Gujarat tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu will be on a day visit to Gujarat tomorrow. Both the leaders will first visit to Mahatma Gandhi's Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad after the grand road show from Ahmedabad Airport. <br/><br/>After paying rich tribute to the father of the nation at Sabarmati Ashram, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart will fly to 'i-Create'- an autonomous centre of excellence at Bavla near Ahmedabad. <br/>'<br/>'i-Create' was formally launched in 2011 by Mr. Modi, when he was the chief minister of Gujarat. The institution mentors budding entrepreneurs and guides them to launch start-ups. There are as many as 45 stalls showcasing startup projects at i-Create campus which is to be inaugurated during this visit. Both Prime Ministers will also address the business community on this occasion.<br/>'<br/>The Israeli Prime Minister Mr Netanyahu will also present Mr. Modi a special gift – the Gal Mobile water desalinization and purification jeep – the two leaders rode at Israel's Olga beach last year. There will be a live demonstration of desalination of sea water that the two prime ministers will witness through video conferencing from the i-Create centre.<br/>'<br/>The two leaders will then fly to Sabarkantha district – based centre of excellence for vegetables established by Israel. This Center of excellence for vegetables was set up in 2015. <br/><br/>A pillar set up to mark India-Israel friendship will be unveiled followed by interaction with around 500 farmers who are into farming of vegetables. They will inaugurate via Video conference another centre for excellence and research facility for cultivation of dates in Kutch. Both the Prime Ministers will leave the city in the evening.<br/><br/>AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that the 8 kilo meter long grand cultural road show organized for the two leaders will be the real taste of hospitality of Gujarat.<br/><br/> <br/>Mr Netanyahu and Mr Modi will also visit the Centre of Excellence for Vegetables at Vadrad in Banaskantha district. They will inaugurate the Centre of Excellence for Date Palms at Kukama, Bhuj District, through video conferencing. The two Prime Ministers will also interact with farmers.<br/> <br/>Prime Minister Netanyahu will later depart for Mumbai.<br/>

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on a visit to Gujarat tomorrow. The city of Ahmedabad will greet Mr. Netanyahu and his wife with a reception, as they proceed to Sabarmati Ashram from Ahmedabad Airport. They will pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Sabarmati Ashram.<br/> <br/>Mr Modi and Mr Netanyahu will inaugurate the iCreate Center at Deo Dholera Village in Ahmedabad. They will visit a Startup Exhibition and interact with innovators and Startup CEOs. The two Prime Ministers will dedicate a mobile water desalination van to Suigam Taluka of Banaskantha district through a video link. Both leaders will also address the gathering.<br/> <br/>Mr Netanyahu and Mr Modi will also visit the Centre of Excellence for Vegetables at Vadrad in Banaskantha district. They will inaugurate the Centre of Excellence for Date Palms at Kukama, Bhuj District, through video conferencing. The two Prime Ministers will also interact with farmers.<br/> <br/>Prime Minister Netanyahu will later depart for Mumbai.<br/>
